TeamTalk 5.1 Build 8 for iOS is now on TestFlight

If you’re a TeamTalk beta tester on iOS you can now update to iTeamTalk 5.1 build 8.

Here’s a list of the changes in this latest beta-version:

  • Configure Text-To-Speech rate
  • Configure Text-To-Speech volume
  • Configure media file volume.
  • Configure Text-To-Speech for private and channel text messages
  • Show username instead of nickname
  • Easy keyboard-dismiss
  • Disconnect button instead of Back-button on main tab view
  • Single tap for TX button (configurable in Preferences)
  • Accessible actions for:
    • Connect to server
    • Delete server
    • Join channel
    • View/edit channel
    • Private text messaging
    • Mute user
    • Kick user

  1. Hi,
    When you tell the iPhone to use the speaker instead of earpiece, the microphone volume level is still lower when using the speaker, and louder when using the earpiece. I’m not sure what the difference is, but I wouldn’t consider it an ideal situation. Other than that, things work pretty well.

  2. I am using the Aftershockz Bluetooth Headset with my iPhone. Unfortunately, the Client in ist actual state refuses to send ist Audio to the device, instead uses the iPhones Speaker.

    If I could use my Bluetooth gear, the application would satisfy all my Needs.
