TeamTalk 5 has been published on Google Play so you can now install the application the “normal” way. If you have already installed the previous beta version then uninstall it first.
Many thanks goes out to Igor B. Poretsky and Beqa Gozalishvili for helping out to develop the TeamTalk 5 for Android application. They have put enormous efforts into making the application as accessible as possible for visually impaired.

it’s great to have teamtalk 5 for android.
I have one problem. when i connect to server, my phone totally blocks, and talkback stops interacting.
i have samsung galaxy young gt-s 6310 with android 4.1.2
can you optimize teamtalk so that it can work on the weaker processors?
I’m afraid not. The processor has to be able to decode audio in realtime. Maybe you can try to use Speex audio codec with 8 KHz sampling rate.

well, how can i choose speeks?
server is using opus..
client tries to over use the processor..
the only way to disconnect then is to restart my phone by holding power button.
so it cannot work on android 4.1
I’ve created a channel called “Speex 8 KHz” on the TeamTalk 5 EU server. Try going into that channel.
