Phew, the first TeamTalk v5.3 beta server with Facebook login had some severe issues which caused it to occasionally hang. The cause of this issue has been identified and resolved.
The upcoming TeamTalk v5.3 release has triggered many software library updates so OPUS audio codec is now v1.2.1 and WebM video codec is v1.6.1. The user interface library for the Linux client has been updated so it now runs Qt 5.7 (note that the Push-to-Talk feature works like “Push-to-Talk lock” on X11). The Windows user interface libraries have also been updated which has caused Windows XP to no longer be supported.
Please give feedback with the new beta version since many internal parts of the software has been updated!

Hi bjoern
i wanna ask about this:
( TeamTalk clients for Debian Linux updated to Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) and Qt v5.7 (PTT behaviour changed))
so debian7 no longer supported?
Regards.
Hamad.
If you install Qt 5 on Debian 7 then it might still run.

Hi, can you please add an option to adjust the size of the jitter buffer? This is so we can get TeamTalk working on internet connections with abnormally high jitter. It could be an option that is set channel wide that specifies the number of packets to store in the buffer before playing or sets the size in milliseconds. Thanks for your consideration.
I’ve made some tests where I increase the playback buffer, but it doesn’t help playback. If you have a poor connection then there’s really not a whole lot to do.

hi again, okay what about ubuntu, ore only the download links is
You should be able to run the client on newer Ubuntu releases.

the client for mac still has the password error when accessing a channel when VoiceOver is active. Likewise I would like to be able to send messages to users from the list of users with command e
What is the password error with VoiceOver about?

chanel! when trying to join a channel it is necessary to write the password twice because the first one gives an error. The same happens when trying to use the operator key
Hm, I only have to enter the password once. I use Cmd+J to join a channel and in the message dialog the text-field has keyboard focus and I enter the password.
— Bjoern
Excellent! Is it possible that you can make the focus directly on the text field?
Hm, it’s a standard Windows control. It should focus on the text field initially.

Hello, I am trying to switch to the Android version of TeamTalk, but it appears that auto gain control is very high on my Samsung S8. I am running 5.3. Do you know if this is an Android issue or an issue with the current build of TeamTalk.
Thanks.
Hi. Password Manager for channels not available for iPhone Hope to add them. Thank you
It is strange then, because the focus does not appear in the text field. It is necessary to press tab in order to write! I repeat, I have VoiceOver activated all the time
