- Android client. Label parent channel shortcut in channel list (#3419)* Android client. Label parent channel shortcut in channel listThe "go to parent channel" row in the channel list was inflated but neverpopulated: item_channel_back.xml carried a hardcoded ".." in the parentnameTextView, and the population and chantopic TextViews were left empty. The back arrow is marked importantForAccessibility="no", so the row's wholeaccessible label was "..", which screen readers do not announce meaningfully.Since this row is the only way back to the channel list from a channel with nosubchannels, screen reader users had no way to tell what it did.Populate it the same way CHANNEL_VIEW_TYPE does: parent channel name (servername for the root channel), topic and user count, plus a content descriptionof "Go to parent channel: <name>". This also gives sighted users thedestination rather than a bare pair of dots.* Use a static "Parent channel" label instead of the channel nameShowing the parent's name made the row read like just another subchannel, which is what the "go up one level" row needs to be distinguishable from.Set the label from the layout as a plain "Parent channel" string, which dropsthe name lookup and the separate content description. Topic and user count arestill filled in so the row says something about where it leads.* Keep the tools XML namespace declaration in item_channel_back.xmlIt is no longer referenced now that tools:ignore="HardcodedText" is gone, butremoving it is unrelated to this fix and only widened the diff., GitHub
