TeamTalk v5.2.2 has now been released and features a new queuing system when using channels configured with “Allow only one person to talk” (also referred to as “exclusive mode” or “no interruptions” in mobile clients). The TeamTalk v5.2.2 release is mainly targeted towards visually impaired users.
When using the TeamTalk 5 Accessible client you’ll hear a sound played when it’s your time to talk and again a sound when you’re no longer active.
For the queuing system to work you must be using a TeamTalk v5.2.2 server!

The Android and iOS version still needs more testing. There’s especially problem with the Android version.
just updated on test flight. I never got an email to say that there was a new release, so i’ve only just checked.
I like the new voice activation sound events, hope to see this feature also in the Qt client some time. 🙂
More accessibility for mac client
Hello, i looked to google play and page and i can’t find teamtalk5.2.2 for android
iOS and Android clients are still in beta test. See previous posts for TeamTalk v5.2.2 for Android
v. 5.2.2 for windows keeps crashing when PTT key is pressed for a while on windows 10 anniversary and creators update. Error message is “A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.”
I’m using 5.2.1 a 5.2.2 version is very crashing. It crashing in random times. I don’t know why. I can join to betatesters of android client?
My friend found a bug. Hi’s talking witch me and volume of me in hi’s teamtalk has very maximize in 20 percent to wery Loud.
at some point in the future, can you please add the ability to change the bitrate of a channel while users are still in it, at least with the Opus codec?
This is a GitHub issue, located here.
https://github.com/BearWare/TeamTalk5/issues/282
It’s on the todo-list: https://github.com/BearWare/TeamTalk5/issues/282
But I don’t see it as a big issue. Most channels would be preconfigured and it’s fairly simple to update the codec.
will there be accessibility for mac?
It is not planned in the near future. Unfortunately I don’t have the time or resources to implement it.
