This is hopefully the last beta test before the final release of TeamTalk v5.5. Yes, it has been on the way for a long time…

Just to recap the new features and bug fixes:

    • VBR/CBR selection for OPUS codec
    • Frame size selection for OPUS codec
    • Max transmission interval increased to 500 msec
    • Audio preprocessor for media file streaming
    • Control media file offset before streaming to channel

    • Restored compatibility with Windows 7 (api-ms-win-core-winrt-l1-1-0.dll error)
    • Fixed bug where audio recording to single file contained audio from media files

  1. I still have not been able to use the inbuilt webcam on my MacBook for video calls. on 5.4 and up including this beta.

    No selection in the drop-down box nor any of the radio buttons will allow the webcam to be set as a video source. Every entry returns “fail to initialize”

    Have you ever wondered about a terminal client to Debian? I’d like to play music or radio to a channel from my VPS. Is there any plan for this?

    And let me to share another idea. I’d like to connect the TT server with a PHP script to my website. For example, require registration on my site to use my server. I know the Facebook login option, but I prefer own solutions:).
