Unfortunately, I cant a create a new channel on this release. If I set myself up on the main channel, I can create a channel, but if I want to create a sub-channel from another channel, I get a “no permissions” error, even though I am an admin. On 5.6.3 working all.
OK, sorry, problem solved. Old version of teamtalk server. I’am sorry for.
I finally solved this problem. It’s not server version. When create a channel, we must unselect a option Join channel on exit.
The audio and video codecs are out of date in this version of TeamTalk.
Please help me if possible.
I have installed teamtalk 5.7, although after several launches the sound in the app becomes quiet, I mean, the beep when closing the settings panel and also when the master volume is turned off, the beep still plays, but the stream, the voice of other people cannot be heard, The only way is it helps – to reset the settings from the “Help” menu of the program, although the same problem appears again after several launches of the application.
p.s. I want to point out that in Teamtalk 5.6 I never had this problem.
In addition, it does not appear on all computers.
Do you have echo cancellation enabled?
No, it is disabled and also was disabled in Teamtalk 5.6
Hello,
The solution is to have an active input source, that is, Teamtalk must have an active input device in the sound selection window to work properly.
I installed and set one device as input, selected in the input devices section that device as active source, then clicked OK and now tt 5.7 sound works as expected.
Even if the device is not connected, Teamtalk still works.
p.s. if I do not select an input device, the sound is muted again.
Teamtalk 5.6 never had this issue, so please make sure it will be fixed in a future release.
Sincerely,
Hi! Is it possible to create a web version of Teamtalk?
No, it’s not.
