Hello
I want to run a teamtalk 5 server on my linux box, Where can i download the server for linux? thank you
I have the error “MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer”. i think the dll file needs to be shipped with the portable install. Here’s a linka bout it http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/dn448963(v=vs.85).aspx
If I’m not mistaken it’s this redistributable which is missing:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
Can you confirm?
Hi
I’ve installed that package, Cut out the files that i’ve downloaded from opendll , (the one that i linked below), and tried to run TeamTalk, and i got the error again. Should i reboot the PC to make these microsoft packages work? (I will be able to reboot in few hours).
Other TT5 distributions: http://bearware.dk/?p=226

I’m trying to run the tt5 clasic portable but here’s the error that i get:
The program cannot start because MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer.
I have microsoft c++ runtime libs for microsoft visual studio 2013 by the way.
Alright. since the files “MSVCR120.dll” and “MSVCP120.dll” is not shipped with the portable installation, i had to do some google search and find non-infected dlls, because otherwise apparently you have to download the entire microsoft visual studio to get those.
Note: I’m running this on a test machine so do not use the site below for your main PC, because i don’t think that it’s trusted
Here’s the site to quickly find those two files and put them in the directory of your teamtalk client:
http://www.opendll.com/
just use the search function.
hm, I guess it’s Tolk which has dependencies to the Visual Studio DLLs. I’ll see if I can find a way to avoid these.

The TeamTalk 5 Classic Alpha3 zip-archive has now been updated so Tolk doesn’t require Visual Studio 2012 redistributable.
Thanks for the updated zip archive.
In Teamtalk 5, there is still the issue of people sometimes being unable to hear one another.
What might be causing this?
Whoops. I’ve also fixed this “upstream” (by statically linking CRT, would be interested in better solutions that don’t produce a 100 KB DLL).
TENGO UN SERVIDOR EN TEAMTALK 4 Y CON LA VERSION 5 DE CLIENTE NO ME DEJA CONECTAR A MI SERVIDOR.
@Jeff, Yes this is an interesting issue. Sometimes people are unable to hear one or more other people, even though they are transmitting. The server properly forwards the data, as this is happening only in the classic client.
I am not sure what causing this, but it should be really looked into.
