  1. Hello Community,
At first let me thank Bjoern for this awesome, great program! And let me thank Bjoern, in the name of all visually impaired users in Germany, that he don’t vorget these users! Thats absolutely great!!! We are establishing a community in germany and TT5Classic as well as ITeamTalk a very great for this persons to get together!

    Now to the Beta:
Great job! I’ve tested all changes here, all works fine and as expected! Especially the new labels in Main Window make TT5Classic even more accessible!
    Keep up the great work!

    • It’s mainly Corentin who have made accessibility improvements in TeamTalk Classic. There’s also many new accessibility features in the Android client.

  2. Hi,
I’m at origin of accessibility improvements on classic client. So if you have any other suggest, please let me know 🙂
My end goal is to remove this classic client and improve accessibility on QT client, but this work is hard and long so in the mean time I’m improving accessibility on classic, always with opinion of Bjoern, which is very often of great help because I start in development

    • Hi, you are doing a great job, making TeamTalk more accessible. I’m also a member of this visually-impaired-platform, Wandogau mentioned earlier. I hosted several online-workshops within the last weeks with TeamTalk. I’m working with TeamTalk on Mac, and currently, the workflow is very difficult, because important parts of TeamTalk for Mac are inaccessible for Voice-Over, the screenreader. So if we could have more accessibility for the Mac version in the near or middle future, it would be even better, because there are several Mac users in our community.

      Thanks again.

      • Yes, there are several issues with Mac, especially with lists (channels, files …). A solution exists, but applying it would change the behavior of TT, the solution is to use another type of list, and the behavior would then become the same on desktop as on mobile, a list of channels for example and once entered in a channel users would become visible.

  3. I have a suggestion for TeamTalk, and I believe that they would help a lot.
Is that the volume of TeamTalk Classic and Android, come by default in 5 or 6 so that it is possible to listen to the reader, in case we still don’t know how to configure (which is a problem for many users when they start).

    • I’m not really sure this is a good solution. We have TeamTalk Wizard to configure TT at first startup, and we can learn window without connect to a server. It’s my point of view, but let’s wait for Bjoern’s

  4. Most people will not access that wizard, and the Android client does not have this configuration wizard. In addition, no one would listen to music at volume 50, since the songs are louder than the voices so I think my suggestion would work… Of course, the final word is from of developers.
