After a long beta testing period TeamTalk v5.4 is now ready for download.
The main new feature in TeamTalk v5.4 is the BearWare.dk WebLogin which is a login system similar to the existing Facebook login. A BearWare.dk WebLogin can be created here.
In a couple of days the Official TeamTalk servers on the public server list will require a BearWare.dk WebLogin in order to log on. To try out the new login system put “bearware” as your username and the new v5.4 client will ask you for login information.
The BearWare.dk WebLogin has been created in order to limit the amount of spam and other types of abuse on the public servers.

Hello admin, is this problem solved by TeamTalkAndroid_v5.4.apk without digital signature? Yesterday, the app updated on the download page was in Huawei, and the Xiaomi phone could not be installed.
Do you have more luck with this one? http://bearware.dk/test/TeamTalkAndroid-release.apk
Great and audio quality is awsom! But please translate the Android version in to Danish.
wij zijn zeer blij dat alles zo goed werkt.
Hi. It appears that you are unable to stream http and https links. What is going on?
Was URL and what OS? The new streaming features are mainly for Windows 10.
I have windows 10 version 1903. The only streaming dialogue I can see using the accessible client is the one for files.
Just paste the following URL in the media streaming dialog:
http://bearware.dk/temp/giana.wma
Hi. I was trying to stream YouTube links. Your link worked. It looks like it is not able to support YouTube streaming yet.
Thank You Very Much,

hello, I have a problem with my team talk 5.4 and that is I can not stream anything. I tryed mp3, wav, ogg, flak, and mp4. it just says failed to streem the media file. I’m using windows 7 64 bit and the server is teamtalk 5.3.3 on linux private server. thanks in advance for any help
You need Windows 10 to use the new streaming features. Note that Microsoft will discontinue support for Windows 7 in 6 months.
my computer resorces are not up to the task of running windows 10 properly. in the mean time, can’t I use the file streaming feeture like I did on tt 5.33?
I think the current implementation of media streaming on Windows is something supported by Windows 10 only, so you’d have to use TeamTalk 5.3.3 to stream media files.
hello admin. how to add berware user in server?
Hello Admin.
Would it be possible for you to add bearware.dk web login in the server? There is a lot of abuse on my private server and making user accounts all the time is very time consooming. Is it possible for you to add bearware.dk web login in the next update?
Thanks.
I plan to make a commercial version of the TeamTalk server with encryption and BearWare.dk web-login.
